The book draws on feminist research, narrative inquiry, memory studies, and peacebuilding to explore a question at the heart of qualitative research: what does it mean to listen to survivors of sexual violence on their own terms - to receive a story rather than extract one?
The discussion will explore the ethics of listening, the responsibilities of research, and the power of survivor narratives to contribute to recognition, justice, and peace.
