Leadership is not for the faint of heart. It can be richly rewarding but comes with challenges. If you can face these challenges with confidence, skill and determination you stand a better chance of overcoming these obstacles. If you do not, your authority can be undermined, your ability diminished and your utility challenged. These challenges can come from employee behavior, boss’s behavior, unrealistic expectations, unidentified risk, or poor risk response.
