Happy 50th Anniversary to the Patrick Power Library!

Since 2018, it has been my privilege to represent Saint Mary’s as the University Librarian of the Patrick Power Library, and it is my honour to be able to celebrate this milestone anniversary with our Santamarian community. With a long-standing reputation for service excellence, this 50th Anniversary provides the opportunity to celebrate the Library’s commitment to teaching, learning and research, as well as the contributions of librarians and professional staff, and the lasting impact we have made towards student success and the student experience. To all our Students, Faculty, and Alumni, as you explore the Patrick Power Library’s 50th Anniversary webpage, I hope you will discover a wide range of stories demonstrating how we support community, seek out partnerships, and engage with students, faculty and staff.
